The River is a central motif of my work, and my primary muse. I find the environment of the marshes to be especially intriguing, providing endless combinations of geometric patterns that assume abstract qualities and give me opportunities to explore color, pattern, and texture. My relationship with the River has grown and matured as I have over the years and consequently I have become an advocate for its restoration and health.
