Art should touch the viewer as much or even more than the artist. I love color, form and line. I want to use those elements to capture a mood and lighting. I prefer to mix architectural and natural elements into my images. There is a Navajo prayer that affirms a desire to “walk in beauty” that I hold dear. I have produced murals, decorative and faux images, impressionistic and abstract images. My preference for oils and pastels stems from a love of the rich color each has.
